Unity

Wideband absorber panel

Frame 1
Unity

Class A rated certified broadband absorption from 100 Hz to 10 kHz.

Whether you're treating a critical listening room, a live recording space, or a post-production suite, Unity is the panel that ends the compromise between low-frequency control and broadband transparency.

Control your room

Designed and tested to deliver full-spectrum acoustic control, the Unity Wide Band Absorber achieves the highest possible absorption ratings across every standard metric — an NRC of 1.0, an SAA of 1.0, and a weighted absorption coefficient (αw) of 1.0 with a Class A sound absorption classification to BS EN ISO 11654.

Absorption Where It Counts

Most acoustic panels claim broadband performance but fall off sharply below 250 Hz — exactly where room modes and low-mid buildup cause the most damage to critical monitoring. Unity is different.

Independently tested in a 202 m³ reverberation chamber to BS EN ISO 354, Unity delivers absorption coefficients exceeding 1.0 across the entire range from 200 Hz to 5 kHz, with meaningful absorption extending down to 100 Hz (αs = 0.36) and strong low-frequency performance at 125 Hz (αs = 0.65). With a 50 mm air gap, the panel reaches a peak αs of 1.46 at 400 Hz — right in the critical low-mid region where untreated rooms are at their worst.

Built for Real Rooms

At 104 × 64 cm, Unity is sized for flexible placement — first reflection points, rear walls, ceiling clouds, or full-wall arrays. The 95 mm depth keeps the profile manageable, and the recommended 50 mm air gap behind the panel extends low-frequency reach without adding significant depth to the installation.

Panels can be mounted individually or in arrays. The tested configuration of 15 panels in a 5 × 3 grid confirms performance at scale — no edge-effect asterisks, no single-panel lab flattery.

Uncompromising Performance

Unity is designed and hand-built in the EU by Buso Audio. Each unit is constructed in-house using premium acoustic materials selected for consistent, repeatable performance across production runs. The result is a panel that looks and feels as precise as it measures, built to the same standard whether you're ordering two for a vocal booth or thirty for a mix room.

I'm using the Studio XL. I can put all the hardware I use in the racks and the keyboard tray is perfect, leaving the desk free for other things. It’s just a perfect design.
